My MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group had playdates throughout the summer. We got to visit the fire station in July. The firemen talked with kids about safety and even put on all their gear. Emma loved to see them do that. She wasn't afraid at all. In fact, she even went up to them and gave them a high-five. They let each child walk through the fire truck. I was with her when the fireman put her on the truck, but wanted to go to the other side to get a picture. She didn't like that too much. Once she got out, she was fine. We even sat on the front and got a good picture. As we were waiting for all the kids to go through the fire truck, Emma had a good time running around outside with her friends. I think the picture of her and Halle looking into the fire station is so cute.
