My MOPS (Mother's of Preschoolers) group went on a playdate to the Krispy Kreme donut shop. We all got to see how the donuts are made. The man leading the tour was great with the kids. He let them touch the flour, yeast and sugar that goes into a donut. Then, he gave them each a handful of dough. I love the picture of Emma holding it...she wasn't sure about that texture. Then, each child got to add sprinkles. Finally, the best part....eating the donut! Emma loved it and asked for more (using her sign language) after every bite.
