One Sunday afternoon, I was putting Emma's clothes away in her closet while she played in her crib. Then, I noticed that she was trying to reach up to the top of her crib. A couple of times, she slipped and bumped her head on the rails, but, she got up and tried again. Finally, she grabbed the top and pulled herself up. She was SO proud of herself! She was smiling and laughing a lot. Once she realized that she could do that, it became a fun game for her...she'd pull herself up, let go of the rail and would "Plop" onto the mattress. Now, she is pulling herself up on the furniture too.
