This past 4th of July was a lot of fun. We went over to my parents' house to eat, swim, play and set off fireworks. There were several people there celebrating. Among them were our good friends, Matt and Jessica, and their son, Jackson. Emma and Jackson have a good time playing together. While in the pool, Jessica and I were working with our kids on skills we learned in our Diaper Dolphins swim class the week before. You'll read more about that in my next post.
Back to 4th of July....everyone bought some great fireworks this year! I think this has been our best show yet. When they started setting off the big, loud ones, Emma kept wanting to go in and come out. She couldn't really decide if she liked them or not. Plus, she was getting pretty tired. We ended up staying for the 'grand finale' which was about 10:00. That is WAY past her bedtime. We left shortly after that. She was asleep before we got to the end of the driveway.
