Emma's first ride in her new seat
Even though Emma was heavy enough at her 1 year appointment, we waited to put her in a forward facing car seat until she was almost 15 months old. We just felt that she needed to be a bit heavier and stronger to face forward. I must say, I like having her face forward much better than facing backward. She can see out the window better and I am able to give her things (such as her cup, snack, and books) much easier.
**September: She continues to like her car seat. She loves looking out the window. When she sees cows, she says "MOO MOO"...horses "NEIGH"....airplanes and semi-trucks "VROOM"...the park (well, she just gets really excited, screams and wants to go play right away). It amazes me how observant she is while she's riding in the car.
