The Christmas tree decorating went in phases this year. We got the tree up with the lights one weekend, but the ornaments didn't go on until the next. Emma liked helping daddy and mommy put on the oranments. We gave her all the soft, non-breakable ornaments for the bottom of the tree.
This year, Emma got to also decorate her own pink Christmas tree in her room. I think having her own tree every year will be a fun tradition. Brandon looked at it and said "A pink tree, really?!" :) Emma was very proud of that tree. We bought her soft ornaments and told her that she could move the ornaments on her tree, but not from the big one in the family room. She really listened and we didn't have any problems with her grabbing the ornaments from the big tree.
