This year we went with some friends to visit Santa in his little cottage at Utica Square. They have it set up so nicely there...lights on all the trees, several Nutcracker scenes throughout and Santa in the middle in his cottage. At first, Emma wasn't too sure about sitting on Santa's lap. But, he was very kind and welcoming and she soon warmed up to him...even trying to tell him a story. After her turn was over, Santa gave her a cookie. She loved that cookie and, to this day, she reminds me that Santa gave her a cookie.
